Sophie Huet is taking over as AFP Global Editor-in-Chief, replacing Phil Chetwynd, who was appointed Global News Director on January 9th 2019. Jean-Luc Bardet succeeds Sophie Huet as Deputy News Director. He will retain his current portfolio as France director. They will take up their new duties on February 4th.

Marc Braibant, 57, has been appointed director of the AFP bureau in Montreal, and will take up his duties in August 2013. He was production editor from 2006 to 2011, before becoming one of the persons responsible for design, development and deployment of AFP’s new Iris editorial system.
